To share your Apple Health steps and weight with your Rise coach:

  • open the Rise app
  • tap on the menu icon on the top left corner
  • tap on “Settings”
  • toggle “Connect to Apple Health” on/green
  • allow Rise to write & read data by toggling all items list on/green

Now you can share your Fitbit steps and weight with your Rise coach! To connect Rise to your Fitbit app:

  • open the Rise app
  • tap on the menu icon on the top left corner
  • tap on “Settings”
  • toggle “Connect to Fitbit” on/green
  • enter your Fitbit credentials

Now, whenever you sync your Fitbit device with the Fitbit app, your Rise coach will be able to review your steps and weight!

Rise is based on making healthy behavior changes one small habit at a time. This has been proven to be more successful than calorie counting in the long term because it’s about education rather than number crunching. Rise helps you learn about what you’re eating so that you can better understand the pros and cons of different food choices and make smart decisions going forward. That said, if calorie counting is important to you, your dietitian can work with you on setting calorie goals as one component of your coaching experience.
