My Background

With my love of food and passion for helping people, the world of Nutrition was the perfect fit for me. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Nutrition and completed my internship at Long Island University in New York. I have been working in the nutrition profession for 4 years. I love any job that allows me to encourage, help and support people achieve their health and wellness goals.

I am a registered dietitian (RD), certified diabetes educator (CDE) and certified lactation counselor (CLC). I have experience working with clients who experience various nutrition related diseases and conditions- particularly obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and women’s health.

I volunteer as a board member for the Long Island Dietetic Association, to ensure that the needs of the Long Island community members are being met, from a nutrition and health education stand point. When I am not working, you can find me enjoying some wanderlust activity, creating different recipes for my blog, or pretending to be Martha Stewart.

My Philosophy

I am a firm believer in “you are what you eat.” What you put in your body is what you get out of it. This doesn’t have to mean that eating healthy cannot be tasty, easy and enjoyable. With the right knowledge from a great coach (me!), you can continue to eat healthy food you love, while achieving your goals. I absolutely believe that there is a healthy option, anywhere you go. Find me a gas station in the middle of nowhere, to a five star restaurant in Manhattan- It can be done! I am here to show you how.
