I am a registered dietitian with a background in clinical nutrition, public health, counseling and research. I received my bachelor’s degree in dietetics from San Francisco State University. After completing my education, I moved to Chicago to do my clinical training at Ingalls Memorial Hospital. I am currently a kidney transplant dietitian at the University of Chicago where I help patients achieve weight and health goals through the transplant process.
I believe that you can fit any type of food into a healthy lifestyle. The name of the game is balance and moderation, but not restriction of your favorite foods! My focus is on the individual and helping them find their best self. An understanding of food and nutrition as fuel for your body changes the way you consume food and allows you to feel your body at its fullest potential!
