Whether traveling for work or play, it can be difficult to get your hands on a healthy breakfast. But with this little hack, you’ll always have a healthy breakfast at your fingertips! First, pack a few baggies of oatmeal on the go. When you need a quick meal, just add hot water and you’re done! And the contents are totally customizable for your favorite flavors!
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1/2 cup of Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup toasted nuts or ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup of dried fruit
- protein powder
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of Cinnamon, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Ginger or your favorite spice combo
- Stevia or another sweetener to taste
Directions: Place all the ingredients other than the sweetener in a plastic bag. When you’re hungry, pour the oatmeal into a heat proof mug. Add enough piping hot water to cover the oatmeal, stir. Adjust water according to how thick you like you oat bowl. Let the oatmeal sit a few minutes so it has time to soften. Add stevia and sweeten to taste. You’re good to go!
